Registering as a Facebook Fan of our airport enters you to win a pair of tickets to one of our 22 nonstop desintations - one of the more exciting locations is New York City! With direct flights into downtown New York or by taking the quick train ride in from Newark, you can quickly be in the city that never sleeps.

Even though school is back in session and families are focused upon homework and after-school activities, your mind should be preparing for the oasis known as FALL BREAK!

Welcome to Miami!

On our tour of McGhee Tyson Airport's 22 nonstop destinations, I would be remiss if I didn't immediately discuss our new flights to Miami starting November 20. Known for its diverse culture and amazing beaches, Miami is one hot spot you don't want to miss!

The new flights are good for business travelers but they are GREAT for leisure travelers, especially cruise travel. Arriving at Miami International Airport by 11 a.m., there is plenty of time to board a cruise to a fabulous Caribbean destination.

Staying in Miami? Check out the Miami Children's Museum where kids can experience, imagine and create when participating in several interactive exhibits. Check out their website for a 50% off coupon.

Visiting without the kids and want to soak up the culture of the city? Experience the world-recognized Miami City Ballet Company or take in a show at one of THREE different playhouses. More interested in films? Miami is the host city for an array of international film festivals each year.

Trip to Orlando?

By becoming a Facebook Fan of McGhee Tyson Airport, you will be entered to win 2 roundtrip tickets to one of 22 destinations from Knoxville, TN. With a deadline of September 30th looming, I will be featuring each of the 22 cities - starting with sunny ORLANDO, FLORIDA.

PROFILE: ORLANDO
With a city this large, you can choose to fly into one of two different airports. Orlando International Airport provides direct access to family attractions such as Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World. You can catch the Disney Magical Express and be riding the Rockin' Roller Coaster by lunchtime.

Orlando Sanford International Airport is located just 25 minutes north of Downtown Orlando and is a short drive from Daytona Beach, St. Augustine and the Space Coast (which includes NASA's Kennedy Space Center).
